Dr. Pandya visited Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh and supported the Environmental Protection initiative by saying that starting on Nov 4th 2012 to 2026 Gayatri Pariwar is starting a new initiative of cleaning the waters of all the rivers in India. He informed that clean drinkable water is very important for the coming generation and along with that planting trees on its bank is another initiative that is being carried on. He also mentioned that we also need to clean our mind and thoughts as per our Gurudev Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya's teaching. He emphasized that we need to remove our own impurities and develop ourselves into a true human being. He offered his support along with its 9 carore Gayatri members support to Swamiji on his initiative to clean river Ganaji.
