Sadhana means going through strenuous tests for intense purification of mind and it is done to earn GOD's proximity and blessings. Simple life is the key to righteous life and sadhana is the only way to lead a simple life. Param Pujya Gurudev stresses hard on controlling one's senses and thoughts. Iron has to go through fire to become bullet, Gold has to go though fire to become pure, and in the same way a human has to subject himself/herself to purification on a continuous basis and with focused efforts to achieve a stronger character. All great people who have changed this world for good have taken this path.
