On Mataji's Punyatithi Mahprayan Divas Jiji mentions that along with God, Shakti always manifests. She gave examples of Ram and Sita, Shiv and Shakti, Gurudev and Mataji. Jiji gave example of one 20 year old widow who was kicked out of her in-laws house who came to Mataji for help. Mataji told her that she needs to stand on her own feet and she bought her books and helped her get BA degree. She became independent and became the principal.
Jiji also mentioned that one time all the devotees took Mataji to Gupt Godavari by lifting her in the chair and carrying her to the top of the stairs. On the way Mataji told them that now that you guys have carried me, do not put me down. Take me and Gurudev allover India and around the world and take a pledge to carry our work forward.
